The Simplicio Gamboa Sr. Foundation Inc. (SGS Foundation Inc.) recently visited Recovered Treasures, bringing joy and support to the Kalipay Negrense Foundation. The SGS Foundation Inc. is dedicated to empowering communities through education, health, and social welfare programs. One of their programs is through granting scholarships to dedicated students around the Philippines, especially in Negros. During their visit, the foundation held a short but meaningful program that included the turnover of gifts to KALIPAY, aimed at uplifting the children and staff. A special highlight was the recognition of one of their SGS Foundation Inc., scholars who accomplished being the Top 15 during the Nursing Board Examination, celebrating their hard work and success.
The event was further enriched by a delightful dance performance from both the SGS scholars and the children of KALIPAY, showcasing the bonds formed through the foundation’s initiatives. The visit concluded with a heartwarming gesture of distributing snacks to the children and staff of KALIPAY, spreading happiness and fostering a sense of community.
