In this insightful webinar conducted by the National Authority for Child Care (NACC), KALIPAY Home Manager Gelime Fia Lumawag along with 12 Home Parents were introduced to the basic concepts of Gender and Development, Gender Socialization, and were taught ways and techniques on how to prevent and address gender issues- all geared towards gender-responsive parenting.
It was also a wonderful opportunity for the KALIPAY Home Parents to meet other Houseparents from other child-caring facilities in other provinces.
