Big hugs and our heartiest well-wishes on TEACHERS DAY for the Kalipay Learning Center’s six awesome teachers!
On top of academics, the Kalipay Learning Center aims to engage the children in active play to develop their gross motor skills, especially for the smaller children.
It was only last July that KALIPAY’s shelter, Recovered Treasures Home was finally outfitted with an Internet connection, and the school, Kalipay Learning Center, only last month.
Ever since our school, the Kalipay Learning Center adopted the UST Angelicum REAP Curriculum, the children have been working on modules.
One of our newly rescued children, Andrew, 4 years old, is asthmatic and malnourished had a bout of fever a few days ago, prompting Kalipay to have him checked by a physician.
All the KALIPAY children are assigned a rotation of age-appropriate chores around Recovered Treasures Home.

Recovered Treasures (RT) is a 4.9-hectare residential facility nestled in the peaceful green landscape of Brgy. Busay, Bago City. As of August 2017, RT is home to an average of 100 children annually.
