Dear Friends,
I would like to say my deepest gratitude to all those who have supported our Kalipay Fun Run last Sunday. From our sponsors, donors, to participants — you have all made this event a resounding success. I was so moved by the hundreds of people who took to the streets to be one in advocating for our children’s causes. How I wish I was there to be with all of you!
Starting Kalipay 17 years ago, there were many times that I felt so alone and so helpless in my journey with abused and abandoned children. However, I have met so many inspiring and energetic individuals that have made it possible for me to continue the work that I do now. That is why, I am so emotional to see that 700 people gathered to show their support for Kalipay and the mission it stands for.
I am also immensely proud of my Kalipay children who dared and accomplished an amazing feat of finishing a race. For most of them, this is their first time. Seeing them give their all, inspires me to work harder to fight for their rights towards a brighter future.
Madamo gid nga salamat to everyone, to our staff as well for their hard work and dedication! I invite everyone to come and visit us in Kalipay to see the wonderful work we do and the impact your help gives to the lives of our children!
