Kalipay’s Board of Trustees and staff spent the day in Gensoli Farm, planning and brainstorming for the various programs to be implemented under a new project entitled PROJECT JAMES.
Project James is a system-wide program that aims to grow good citizens out of the children living in the two facilities of Kalipay Negrense Foundation, Inc. (Kalipay), namely, Recovered Treasures (RT) and Haven Home (Haven). In nurturing good citizens, it is necessary to situate the children of Kalipay in a loving environment, an environment where love and goodness are actively proclaimed, encouraged, pursued, measured, and celebrated.
In the quest for this loving environment, the Board of Trustees of Kalipay has identified five (5) traits that espouse love and goodness. This allows the program to focus on specific behaviors, as well as to have a manageable starting point from where the program can later expand as the need arises.
